AMARIGE BRIDAL

ABOUT

A message from Joseph

Amarige can be translated from French to English to mean “The moment that something takes your breath away”, and it is a fitting name for both the JS and Amarige collections to do just that.

‘There are so many elements that go into creating a wedding dress. My personal style goes from modern elegance to extravagant beauty. With over 20 years of experience, I enjoy working with my brides one on one to bring their dream wedding gown’s vision to life, from initial sketches to final touches. ‘

The JS Collection

Joseph has also designed his Amarige collection. Essentially a ready to wear collection made to your measurements that are customisable. Amarige can be translated from French to English to mean ‘The moment that something takes your breath away’. A fitting name for a couturier who intends to do just that.

The Amarige Collection

Joseph works one on one with the bride from designing the gown to creating her vision throughout the whole process. Using high quality fabrics, silks, lace, beading and embellishments.

OUR PROCESS

WHAT'S IT LIKE TO WORK WITH AMARIGE BRIDAL

01. Book your appointment

Have a one-on-one appointment with Joseph, sharing your ideas and inspiration. Hear his ideas on creating your dream gown. Try on gorgeous gowns from his latest collection and enjoy the memorable experience at our salon.

02. Your first fitting

A calico appointment is a trial fitting to fix the pattern of the silhouette. It is the base shape to figure out how low we want the neckline, how low are we to do the back. Were the most flattering part of your waist to start the skirt. It helps us get the basic shape according to your body measurements.

03. Fabric Fitting

This is the fabric fitting, where the whole dress silhouette is made plain. Doing minor adjustments to perfect the shape and fit of your gown.

04. The Details

This is the detail fitting. In this fitting detail has been partially placed and added. For you and Joseph to finalise the detail.

05. Final Touches

This is the finalisation appointment. Making sure that the details are exactly the way it needs to be and perfecting it.

06. Picking up your gown

Is the collection of the gown. Also, considered as a fitting as we make sure that when the gown is picked up, it fits perfectly. As we all know that a bride may lose weight in the final weeks leading up to the wedding.
